A Little About Us
WHO ARE WE?
The Broken River Painters is a long established art group in Benalla in North Eastern Victoria. We have around 35 members who practise mostly traditional and realist art in a wide variety of media. These range from graphite and charcoal through water colour to acrylics and oils. Coloured pencils, pastels and oil pastels are also popular with members. Painters undertaking abstract, expressionist or modernist works should not be dissuaded from joining. Every member, whatever they paint and however they paint, brings ideas to the group.
